Come and brush up on practical boating knowledge and skills for free at our brand-new attraction: an interactive theatre, in association with Practical Boat Owner magazine.

The Theatre is a great place to learn as you watch live practical demonstrations and get hints, tips and secrets of the trade on voyaging far and wide in a real life setting.From the deck of a fully rigged British yacht, the iconic  Westerly Centaur, well known sailing personalities and equipment experts will be presenting regular illustrated talks that will be of interest to practical cruising sailors at all levels. A multitude of subjects will be covered, but whether you’re looking to start boat ownership on a budget, re-equip your pride & joy, plan an extended ocean adventure, or simply enjoy the cruising life there’s guaranteed to be something that will inform and Inspire you.

Speakers names are being added daily but to give you a taste of who to expect, famous pilot book author Rod Heikell and renowned celestial navigator Stokey Woodall will be there to pass on practical tips on getting the most enjoyment from ocean voyaging. They’ll be joined by Practical Boat Owners regular columnists Sam Llewellyn and Stuart Davies along with budget boating guru David Selby and a host of other sailors – all with interesting tales to tell and invaluable advice to pass on that will help you get the most from our wonderful pastime...
