British Marine Boat Shows' portfolio contains two world-class boat Shows:
British Marine Boat Shows is a subsidiary of British Marine, the trade association for the UK boating industry.
Run by the industry, for the industry, the profits from both Shows are reinvested back into the UK leisure marine industry through the services and representation provided by British Marine.
British Marine has over 1400 members, which account for a substantial amount of the industry's turnover and employ around 30,000 people. They are drawn from both the seagoing and inland sectors of the marine industry covering the leisure boat, hire fleet, commercial work boat and Superyacht categories and supporting services.
British Marine offers a range of services to help members build their businesses.
These services include advice and financial support on exporting; information on technical, legal, commercial, statistical and environmental matters; training courses and grants plus careers and jobs. Additionally, central government is actively lobbied to ensure that new legislation benefits all interested parties in the industry.
British Marine is also committed to ensuring growth in participation in boating, through its On The Water initiative, and its two boat Shows are provide an ideal opportunity to Showcase boating.
British Marine are accredited with the ICOMIA (The International Council of Marine Industry Associations) Code of Excellence and are members of the International Federation of Boat Show Organisers (IFBSO)
