Afloat with Cognition at The London International Boat
Show
A high-profile seminar is being held at this
year’s London International Boat Show on how to stay afloat during
the economic downturn.
It is being run by Dr Peter Hughes, Managing
Partner of Cognition – an award-winning Midlands marketing and
communications agency.
Dr Hughes is using his expertise in sales,
marketing and cognitive psychology to advise on how to maximise
sales revenue, whatever the budget or company size.
The seminar is taking place on Thursday
15th January in the BMF lounge between 9am and
1030am.
Dr Hughes said; “The ongoing global financial
and economic conditions are affecting demand for luxury products
across many industries, particularly the marine and yachting
sector. Every day, we hear of job losses such the recent 300-plus
redundancies at Fairline Boats.
“Pearl Motor Yachts is a long-standing client
of Cognition’s and it is proof you can continue to show substantial
growth and profit – even in this current climate. In my seminar, I
will use the latest methods and research to reveal growth
opportunities and ways to cut marketing costs. This will include
tips on how to stay resilient in difficult times and how to manage
anxiety.”
Cognition’s clients are mostly leaders in
their fields such as Broadfern Energy Consulting, the Smallpeice
Trust, the Engineering Construction Industry Training Board
(ECITB), The Belfry, Kingfisher Windows and Alma Consulting
Group.
