Those competing for the silverware included Edinburgh University, St. Andrews University, Warwick University, Royal Thames Yacht Club, BUSA, Army Sailing Association, Corinthians and West Kirby.

The crews experienced good winds which lead to some very close racing. Eventual winners of the cup were the Royal Thames, a big congratulations to Ben Clothier, Dave Royce, Mark Lees, Andy Cornah (Helm & Captain), Charlie Wylie, Tom Heywood, Johnathon Binner (Helm) and Ben Lister.
