Exhibiting Companies
Exhibiting companies can use this area to
plan for the Show. Amongst a number of tools and opportunities
at the Show with the aim of helping you maximise your
performance, you can log in and see the Online Exhibitor Manual or get logos and buttons for use in your pre-Show
marketing.

Accommodation
As of 22th December 2008
We wish to advise that Expotel have now
acquired the hotel agency contract from Travelocity Business to
service Exhibitor hotel accommodation requirements. Moving
forward, Expotel will be the official accommodation agents at the
forthcoming London International Boat Show 2009, the PSP
Southampton Boat Show 2009 and London 2010. They will be present at
the shows to deal with any accommodation enquiries.

Hall Opening Times
The halls are open for Build-up and Breakdown from 0800 –
1900hrs except on the following days when the opening times change
to:
Thursday 8th January 0800 - 2200hrs
Sunday 18th January 1830 - 2300hrs (Breakdown
evening)
The halls will be closed between and including 24th December -
27th December and 31st December - 1st January 2009.
Stand Plan Submission
Stands with complex structures or complex elements need to
submit: 3 sets of stand plans, structural calculations, method
statement and the Health and Safety Declaration Form by 7th
November 2008.
All stands without any complex elements, need to submit 3
sets of plans and there Health and Safety Declaration Form by
5th December 2008.

ExCeL Traffic Guide: Due to
Phase 2 the marshalling area has been moved to Peruvian
Wharf. The guide tells you which type of vehicles can proceed
to the venue and which will need to proceed to Peruivan
Wharf. To find out where Peruvian Wharf, view Exhibitor

Exhibitor Parking
Facilities: Shows you where you can park at ExCeL London
Colour Coded Access
Plan: Shows when you can access the halls on Build-up and when
you need to vacate on Breakdown.
Build-up and Breakdown
Schedule: Gives information on Build-up and Breakdown
dates as well as lifting times for boats, cradles and stand
components.
Stand Build Zone Colour Coded
Plan: Shows the wall height limits for individual stands.
Build-Up & Breakdown Passes
These will be sent out mid/late November and are valid ONLY for
Build-Up and Breakdown. The number of passes you
intially receive depends on the size of your stand plus any
additional passes requested from Order Form 16. If you
require more passes then you can obtain them from Security at each
entrance, onsite.
For security reasons, the passes will be issued directly to the
Exhibitor for distribution to their Contractors.
Mechanical Handling
PLEASE NOTE: Mechanical Handling (including forklifts and
cranes) must be ordered in advance directly from Schenker (Order
Form 4 in the Exhibitors Manual):
1. Mechanical Handling ordered for your stand: Do NOT start work
(i.e. carpet laying etc) until the date advised to you in the
colour coded Access Schedule.
2. Mechanical Handling ordered to Lift Boats from the Dock, please
note the following:
a. You must complete the Mechanical Handling
–Boat Lifts from Dock, Order Form 6 to secure entry from RoDMA into
the lock, and mechanical handling from Schenker.
b. RoDMA lock charges will apply (see Scale of RoDMA Lock Charges,
Order Form 6). RoDMA will invoice you accordingly.
c. RoDMA mooring charges will not apply provided the vessel spends
no more than 24 hours in the Dock (before or after lifting).
d. The Build up and Breakdown Schedule will notify you of your
Lifting Times
Lorryway Access Pass
This enables a vehicle to access the lorryway for loading and
unloading purposes during Build-Up & Breakdown on the lorry
ramps and for limited hours outside of the Show Open period.
Simply:
1. Follow directions for the Peruvian Wharf traffic
marshalling area.
2. Go to the Traffic Administration Office where your Lorryway
Access Pass will be issued.
3. Please ensure your Lorryway Access Pass is clearly visible in
the front windscreen to the Traffic Marshals.

Boat Transporters
If arriving at night, before 0800hrs, boat transporters can park
up in the old ExCeL lorry marshalling area to the North of the
halls. From there they will be allowed up into the halls from
0800hrs when told to do so by the marshals.
If arriving during the day, they can access the halls directly by
entering the Phase 2 construction site’s main gate off the
roundabout at the East of the site.
Late Working During Build-Up
Exhibitors wishing to work outside of the hours shown above must
notify the Organisers by 1500 hrs on the day. There will be a
charge made for those who exceed the opening hours to cover the
venue service charges.
