The Outdoors Show
The Outdoors Show is the UK’s Number 1 show for outdoor
enthusiasts and in 2012 attracted over 85,000 visitors. Whether

The Adventure Stage will feature illustrated talks from top
British mountaineers, climbers, adventurers and explorers.
All talks are free of charge on entry and seats are available on
a first come first served basis, with standing room also
available.

Over the past 11 years many thousands of people have had their
first taste of climbing at The Outdoors Show.
With the aim of introducing more and more of our visitors to the
fantastic sport of climbing, The Outdoors Show 2013 will have a
great climbing village offering a number of walls and routes
suitable for beginners and more advanced climbers.

years on everest
60 Years on Everest, in association with the Mountain Heritage
Trust and the Royal Geographical Sociey will give visitors an
insight into the history, both past and present of the great
mountain.
The exhibition will feature amazing photography documenting key
expeditions as well as a display of clothing, and a selection of
special artifacts.
Careers zone
The Careers Zone, in association with PGL features a stage full
of great speakers and an information area where you can find out
more about the diversity of careers available within the Outdoors
sector.
Meet employers, colleges and training providers face to face.
Listen to talks from people who have worked in various roles within
the industry. Find out more about the latest jobs and training
coursers available. Get informal advice from experienced
ex-instructors and industry professionals.
The Careers Zone offers something for anyone who wants to work
in the outdoors… from entry level students to career breakers,
career changers or experienced outdoor workers planning their next
move.
