Going for Gold is a brand-new attraction at
the Show. 2012 is set to be a big year for Team GB's
sailors, kayakers and rowers, and the Show is the place to see a
host of Olympic athletes and boats all together in one
place.

In addition the Clarks Knowledge
Box (a free Show theatre) has a Going For Gold strand running
through it so you can learn more about what is going on and hear
from some of our atheltetes due to be competing in the Summer.
Team GB - Challenge a team GB canoeist
Going For Gold brings together, for the first time, a
group of the best of the best of current and recent World and
European Canoe slalom and sprint Champions at Senior and Junior
level.
Team GB canoeists wil be at the show challenging you
to an indoor kayak sprint challenge - come and have a
chat or take on the world's fastest times over 20m.

come and talk to the British
Canoe Union (stand G420) or vsiit bcu.org.uk for all the information
that you are likely to need!

GB Rowing TEAM - Olympic sculls
Rowing
represents one of GB's strongest medal chances at the 2012 Games.
Come and see the boats used by GB Rowing Team, learn more
about the GB Rowing
Team and find out how to get involved in rowing.

Go sailing or Paddling at the Show
You have seen the boats going to be used, found out
where it is going to happen now you can take to the water
yourself and start your way to going for gold.
Go dinghy sailingor or canoeing at the Show in the Waterports Action
Pool for FREE. The pool is the
place to go dinghy sailing or kayaking. You can try out kit,
test a boat and experiment with things you may learned around the
Show. With artificial wind and a fully trained crew why not go have
a go?
