Tony Brooks WILL APPEAR for 2012!
Avoiding Electrical Problems - We will:
Look at how to identify and avoid the “hidden” problem of voltdrop
and the problems it causes.
Carry out the calculations to ensure the battery bank, the
electrical load and charging regime and system are tolerably well
matched.
Discuss battery type selection and how batteries may be
tested.
Tony will be available after the talk to discuss individual’s
problems on any mechanical/electrical maintenance topic.
The Diesel System - We will:
Have a brief overview of the diesel fuel system.
Discuss its maintenance and how to minimise the problems of diesel
bug.
Look at recent problems that seem to relate to certain additives
and fuel containing bio-diesel
Update the advice I gave last year.
Tony will be available after the talk to discuss individual’s
problems on any mechanical/electrical maintenance topic.
