GLITZ, GLAMOUR AND LUXURY: TAMARA ECCLESTONE OPENED THE 2012
TULLETT PREBON LONDON BOAT SHOW IN STYLE
The 2012 Tullett Prebon London Boat
Show was opened this morning at 11am by heiress, model and
broadcaster, Tamara Ecclestone, with all the glitz and panache that
would be expected from this world-class event.
Tamara declared the Show officially open in a
glamorous 50s–inspired performance in which she was accompanied by
a troupe of elegant ‘synchronised swimmers’ dressed in vintage
bathing suits and Hollywood style robes. The girls performed their
routine to a catchy ‘MGM-themed’ tune, which culminated in a show
stopping finale at the base of - Show sponsor - Tullett Prebons’
luxury platinum lounge staircase.
Declaring the 2012 Tullett Prebon London Boat
Show officially open, Tamara Ecclestone added: “I’m thrilled to
have been involved in this fantastic event. I have fond memories of
being taken out on yachts from an early age and so I’ve always
loved being out on the water. I really enjoyed seeing all the
action live at the Show as well as being given a tour of all the
new boats that were launched this year – I’d definitely recommend
it as being a fun day out for all.”
Murray Ellis, Managing Director of National
Boat Shows said: “The Show – which is free for kids – is the
perfect way to get into the spirit of celebrating London’s
undisputed status as the ‘city of sport in 2012’. With a whole host
of activities on offer to spectate or take part in, and something
to suit every budget, the Tullett Prebon London Boat Show really
does offer something for everyone – and what better way to
celebrate the opening of our Show with than with the glamorous
Tamara – who made for a suitably sensational and high profile
opening.”
