include Mooring, Yacht and Dinghy Splices.
Splicing ropes maintains 90% of the rope strength compared with
just 60% when tying a bowline. Splicing ropes will add extra safety
margin to your running rigging onboard.
The kids can also take part in knot tying classes while the
adults can learn about the latest rope technologies Marlow has to
offer.
Take your new skills back to the dinghy park or marina to
impress your friends and competitors. Splicing demonstrations will
run throughout the day on an hourly basis and on request.
