As already announced, the 2011 Tullett Prebon
London International Boat Show will, for the first time, host a
Used Boats Marina which will be located outside on
the dock and has capacity to berth up to 70 boats. Following
extensive research into the boating community, 70% of current Boat
Show visitors are interested in seeing used boats at the Show, and
50% of them would bring others with them if the Show had such a
feature. Further research into those who don’t
currently attend revealed that 2/3rds would reconsider visiting if
used boats were on display.
To enhance the marina the already successful
Yacht Brokers Village will feature the entrance to
the Used Boat Marina in association with
YachtWorld.com, and will be well signposted throughout the
Show. There will also be a number of events and presentations
on the Yacht Brokers Village to help raise the
profile of used boats, the Used Boat Marina and
professional brokerage in general. To see what this will look
like, follow this link. Tour The
Show.
This is an ideal way for brokers and the used
boat trade to benefit from taking space at the Show. With
berths costing from just £1495* it is affordable exhibiting for
brokerage boats and you can save accommodation at the same time by
staying on the boat if you wish. You can also have your boats
listed on the exhibitor boat search portal, which was the most
visited part of the Southampton website when it was introduced for
the first time this year.
